Mar 10, 2007 Cask at the brewpub. Clear amber, small creamy head. Pungent, almost aggresive fruity nose leaning towards plums and metal. Dryish with fairly clean mouthfeel. Lightly spritzy, grassy and ashy with some minerals and salty finish. A good altbier with a pleasant depth of flavours.

Aug 8, 2008 Bottled. Aroma is wooden, hoppy and a bit earthy. Amber oclour, small white head. Flavour is wood, saltwater, some hops and mild notes of leatheryness.
