Barnabus (28), Niagara, Ontario, Canada Jun 16, 2008 On tap at the Wooly in Guelph. Everyone else has described the appearance well. The aroma and taste are moderately malty, grassy and yeaty. Quite nice overall but nothing that really distinquishes it. garthicus (531), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 5, 2008 Bottle - light orange with some good carbonation, light white head. Grassy hay aroma, some hops too. Fairly grass and hop flavour, some dryness there too, I had it at a friends party, handy and enjoyable for such occasions yarry (350), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada Mar 26, 2008 341ml bottle, 5% a/v
From the bottle, pours a very light, almost champagne/straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malty, with hints at wheat, spice, and straw. The taste of the beer is a nice clean pils, a bit fruity, a little bit spicy on the finish, very nice flavour. Only problem is this beer is very watery.. it has a nice flavour, but theres just not enough of it. dutchem (3), Ontario, Canada does not count Nov 7, 2007 A spicy pilsner with a very rich, full, and more than pleasant aroma. I found on my first encounter, that I was somewhat repelled by the bold flavour, but with the cold winter approaching, am becoming more fond of this robust brew. albert_007 (409), Penobsquis, New Brunswick, Canada Oct 17, 2007 Deep golden color with frothey white head. Clean, slightly grassy hop aroma and some biscuit. Flavor is crisp, with a hint of malty sweetness finishing with the mild hoppy bite. Yum
