Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel, Northampton. A light golden coloured beer with some off white wisps for a head. The aroma is dull with just a little fruit. The taste has a little sweetness but is ordinary like its two stablemates I had the same lunchtime.

A Mes rate: Cask at Chelmsford Beer Festival. Very pale colour. Bland and hoppy all round. Very slight sweetness in an almost malty finish. Very dull.

Nice looking pale golden bitter. The aroma has some rather under-developed malt, but not much in the way of hops. Not much in the way of flavour either. Dry, but a bit dull and thin. Not offensive, but not impressive either. Cask (gravity dispense), Twickenham Beer Festival 2004.

Cask@Twickenham BF. Sulphury/boiled egg nose. Some white grape. Spritzy mouthfeel, grainy and thin, a bit boring.
