Commercial Description:
Big. Strong. Bitter. This powerful, broad shouldered, deep red beast of burden makes no apologies for its sturdy alcohol content, and heavy handed bitterness. The Angry Ox is best tamed by at least 2 months of aging and will stand up well if stored for up to a year

Bottle. Muddy chocolate brown with a small head. Aromas are chocolate and weetabix malts with some berry fruit. Flavours are mid malts with a fruity messy bitterness. Doesn’t taste as if its finished. Dry on the finish with a prickly palate. Not great.

500ml bottle - 4.8% vol. Brewed September 2066, Drunk June 2007. Pours a dark amber, with a decent head that subsides gradually. Good smoky aroma and a strong, rich malt taste, also with smoky hints. A bit musty - I did rather over-age it - but a nice long bitter aftertaste. Worthy trying if you can find it.

Dover Beer Fest 2007. A gentle brew which promises to be good when fully fermented. At the moment it tastes like a young, sugary, slightly inept, home brew.

500ml bottle from the brewery. Deep russet colour with thin beige head. Some red berry malt and some nice mellow hop on the aromas. A tad sweet in mouth (maybe from the alcohol content) with good malts and then tangy hop on end.
