Commercial Description:
Bottle conditioned.
Bronze in colour, with a mild flavour, this beer starts with a nutty sweetness and finishes with a soft dryness on the palate. A balanced harmony of caramel malt and hops creates a notably clean taste with a malt accented flavour.

Bottle. Cloudy brown and sulphuric with lotsof carbonation.Acidic, bitter and sour. Not surprising as this brewery doesn’t seem to have mastered the bottling process. One to avoid.

Bottle at home ... Copper ... very fizzy ... sweet woody hop ... bit too fizzy ... malty front ... very nutty (hazelnut wonder if theres any added ) settles down to be a decent fruity malty bitter.

Bottle at ronnies, bottle conditioned. Nutty, fruity, bready with sweet malt on the nose. Taste is a game of cheese, easy going and quite a good example of the style.

500ml bottle from the brewery bought for my birthday by the office. BBE 12/07. Chestnut with lasting beige head. Pretty standard bitter, quite acidic. Nice caramel, decent dryness on end. Some malt, but acid on end is too strong.

500ml bottle from Middle Farm, East Sussex. Pours a slightly hazy brown with a whitish foam head. Little aroma - maybe a bit of malt. Flavour is unimpressive - some sugary rum notes peek through though. Palate is thin at first and then a bit chunkier. Overall, felt this was all odds and ends, not a smooth drinking experience.

Bottle. Very brown with a large off-white foam. Aromas are cocoa powder and citrus. Flavours are caramel and toffee mals with citrus and some soda water. Dry on the finish. Not great.

500ml bottle from BeersOfEurope. Hazy and vinegary. Drinkable, but not exactly clean and pleasant. Some vague soft fruit and caramel and a little touch of hop bitterness quite late in the finish.
