Bottle at Chris_O’s 19th April 2008 tasting, courtesy of yours truly ;-) Pours a hazy yellow with a sour apple aroma. Flavour-wise, it tastes as you’d expect - appley with hoppiness. Quite firm on the palate and not as bad as I feared.

A Mes rate: bottle at Chris_O’s Ha Ha Ha Ha Gimme the Cheese Tasting.
Oh dear oh dear oh dear. What the hell goes on at Fallen Angel? Are they on drugs? This little gem was very lemony and full of sour apples. Not a good sour either, a Fallen Angel sour. Christ on a bike guys. Sort it out. FAIL!

Bottle Light gold with a very large head for a cider! Aromas are sharp green apple with yeast and wheat. Flavours are green sour apple with sweet wheat and hints of malt. Very strange but decent.

Bottled from Red Zebra. Bought for Mrs H who tried not to hurl after her first sip. Mental carbonation, huge biscuity bits in the glass, a lemony haze that settles down after a few minutes. Subtle apple subsides to sharp citrics; reminded me of a crude witbeer. Not cider-like but a one of those mash-ups (pun intended) that works even though in thoery it should be drain pour.

For the record, Mrs H switched to Frome Valley so I drank the rest of this odd bottle. Dirty job, etc.

500ml bottle from brewery stand, Borough Market. Hazy gold/orange with thick huge lasting head. Very carbonated to start with. Lots of apple juice, some malt. Lots of hops on end. Lively beer. Weird and bizarre. Not really a cider due to the use of malt in the brewing process. Rather drinkable once the carbonation goes. An appley golden bitter with good hop on finish. Apple juice is medium with no noticeable dryness. Interesting.
