Doggythedog (972), Split, Croatia Apr 7, 2008 0.5l can courtesy of and shared with ozujsko (thanks!) Brewed in Germany. Poured a golden colour with a medium sized white chem head that went away slowly. The nose is basically crappy maltiness and alcohol, a bit oily. The taste isn’t far off either. Malt & alcohol. NOT a good thing in a 4.5% pale lager. Oh, and apple too. No hop. Similar to the Brauperle I’ve had a little earlier. Not too offensive but as useless as they get. nigos (611), Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England Jan 2, 2008 Standard lager type appearance, golden hue with a decent foamy white head and lively carbonation. Fresh malty nose. Slightly skunked taste. Much much to it, malty taste with a weak bitter after taste. Very bland. Virenque (5), Slovenia does not count Mar 18, 2007 It`s too sweet, not enough CO2 and with some unusual taste. I bouht it in Leclerc because of "buy 2, get 3" and I think I did it the first and last time. SilkTork (3881), Rochester, Kent, England Jul 16, 2006 Can. Leclerc. Brewed in Germany. Crisp carbonation. Watery taste. Slight metal flavour with a hint of fruit. Mildly sweet & fruity finish. Drinkable, but of little interest. Saarlander (1454), The Saarland, Germany May 29, 2006 Light, watery guzzling beer. Easy to get at many gas stations and supermarkets for a good price, pretty bad lager.
