hughie (2254), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Jul 12, 2008 Cask at Derby Festival ’08. Gold with a small white head. Floral hop aroma. Sweet fruity taste, some citrus. Quite a sharp, dusty bitterness to finish.
Rastacouere (5409), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 3, 2007 Nice 2cm white foam covers the clearish pure gold pour. Beautiful condition this one. More geared towards bitterness than aromatic hoppiness, but nicely herbal and quite spicy, floral hop attack takes one the delicate bready, soft hay-like malts. Not complex, but not simple either. Delicious mouthfeel with a certain creaminess to it. Very good one. fonefan (4871), Ulfborg, Denmark Sep 11, 2007 Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2007, London. Clear medium orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, moderate hoppy, flowers, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration and a dry finish. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. oh6gdx (6334), Vaasa, Finland Sep 3, 2007 Cask@GBBF2007. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is yeast, eggs, fruity hops and some wood. Flavour is nectar, very sweet fruity hops and a lot of yeast and grass. harrisoni (5331), Ashford, Kent, England Aug 17, 2007 Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. Gold, lasting off white head. Slightly yeasty, lots of English hops. Some pepper. Bit too yeasty, but hops are ok and the finish is tasty.
