berkshire_john (1048), Bracknell, Berkshire, England Jun 18, 2008 Cask at the Falstaff, Derby. Copper with a thin cream head; fruity malt aroma; and rich fruity roasted malt flavour; finish is gently bitter and sweet. Not bad for a first attempt.
ChristianScheffel (2084), Odense, Denmark Oct 23, 2007 Copper beer with a small but lasting white head. Fruity aroma with peach and lemon. Dry caramel malty flavour, with some hop flavour coming through. Rastacouere (5270), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 3, 2007 Good-looking copper with a solid off-white cover. Caramelly and earthy toasted malts are well extracted and foam a fine background on which are added some rather generic hops. Pretty weak flavour association in mouth, leading nowhere. Medium bodied, astringent and overly grainy, husky even. anders37 (2569), Malmö, Sweden Oct 3, 2007 Cask @ Volunteer Arms, GBBF 2007. Pours a clear amber color with an off-white head.
