A decent sample, not too aromatic........... MoritzF (3883), Ruhrpott, Germany Jan 19, 2007 (bottle) Cloudy, deep orange colour with a small frothy off-white layer. Sweet wheet-malty, slightly toasty aroma with notes of banana and oranges, also slightly sour with a touch of cloves, vanilla and traces of alcohol. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Wheaty, slightly fruity and yeasty taste with a medium clovy, wheat-malty finish with a balanced, refreshing sourness. The alcohol shows up in the finish and gives a warming effect. Decent Weizen-Bock.
