bottled. pale golden with light haze and a lasting off-white head. butterscotch aroma, plenty of artificial sweetener, light wheaty sourness, not particularly good for the style

Bottle: Cloudy, orangey coloured, quickly vanishing off-white layer; alcoholic nose with traces of oranges and orange-peel - a bit like in Belgium - and a touch of cloves; robust sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; alcohol detectable in the sweet-sourish-fruity (with a touch of wheat) finish. A decent sample, not too aromatic...........

(bottle) Cloudy, deep orange colour with a small frothy off-white layer. Sweet wheet-malty, slightly toasty aroma with notes of banana and oranges, also slightly sour with a touch of cloves, vanilla and traces of alcohol. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Wheaty, slightly fruity and yeasty taste with a medium clovy, wheat-malty finish with a balanced, refreshing sourness. The alcohol shows up in the finish and gives a warming effect. Decent Weizen-Bock.
