HenrikSoegaard (2855), Randers, Denmark May 8, 2008 Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Light malty, hoppy and yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter slightly roasted flavor. Moderate bitter average finish. Not much hefe flavor, but nice powerfull brew. Creamy palate. There are better weizenbocks but this is alright.

Aroma is moderate yeasty, barnyard. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (160508) Ungstrup (10776), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 23, 2008 Bottled. An unclear brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, wheat, and straw. The flavor is very sweet with notes of wheat and caramel, leading to a dry wheaty finish MiP (4643), Flensburg, Germany Jun 18, 2008 Draught at ÅBF08. Buttery aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is also buttery, but not bad. Roasted and with a hint of infection. Maria (3696), Thisted, Denmark Jun 2, 2008 Dark brown with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and burnt sugar. The flavour has sweetness and notes of roasted malt, candy sugar and very little fruit. IMO it lack everything but the sweetness in being a real weizen bock. KimJohansen (2302), Copenhagen V, Denmark Jun 1, 2008 Hazy brown with medium off white head. Aroma has roasted malt. Sweet flavor with ripe fruits, roasted malt, wheat, yeast and caramel notes. Soft mouthfeel with a sweet end.
