From tap at Ølbaren. Pours dark brown to black with a huge chocolate tan head. Aroma is roasted, coffeeish, vanilla and coconut and light biscuit. Smooth coffee, sweet and slight molasses touch. Light bitterness coming through. Sweet and coffeeish finish. Candy in a glass.

Draught at EsBF09. Good cinnamon aroma, along with a mild and creamy roasted note. Black colour, seems a little cloudy. The flavour starts off with a distinct cinnamon note. Turns a bit creamy and quite roasted. Hard roasted malts. Has a subtle vanilla note which is very good in combination with the cinnamon.

It’s pitch black with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, coffeee, vanilla and little different Christmas spice, but not in a dominating way. The flavor is moderately sweet with notes of roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, the cinnamon is almost not there, but it’s dryness gives it away. I also find other Christmans spices, and I think this is a “Christmassy” beer in the right way, harmonic and nice without a the entire self of spices dropped into the brew.

tap at ølbaren black , smooth brown head. very nice roasted grains and toffee dominated aroma. flavor is strong toffee, roasted grains, christamas spices (browncakes) my rate might be lower than it should be bc i don’t like either browncakes or toffee, so not my kind of beer in that respect.

On tap. Pours black and opaque with a creamy beige head. Spicy, coffeeish nose. Medium body, hard roasted malts, coffee, cardamom and an indefinable lightly sweet spice, what is this.....vanilla! Some malt bitterness in the finish. 221009
