Shared by miketd. Thanks! Almost black body with little head. Nice sour aroma mixed with what seems to be rye and spices. The flavor follows with a hint of black pepper, some unripe fruits, and chocolate melding together for a nice flavor. Nicely done.

Sep 5, 2008 Big bottle - pours a really robust orange/red/brown with a lively beige head. No lacing to speak of. Flavors of soy sauce, apples, lemons, spices. Really nice sour finish. Definitely one of the better Fantome offerings. Need to find more!

Sep 3, 2008 Almost mud colored with lots of sediment. Decent light tan foamy head. Smell is barnyard, almost sour like, malts, and horsey. Taste is sweet, tart, fruit, sour like goodness. Lots of complexity, very good.

Aug 24, 2008 Dark Black in color. Vinous, sour aroma. Flavor is dark fruits, spices, vinegar and lemons. Definitely a hodge podge of flavors that ultimately doesn’t do anything for me.

smell is faint, musty, some dark fruits, almost a red wine smell.
taste is sour, dark fruits (prune, raisin, red grapes), malt in the back, some spice, dry ending, thick mouth-feel, some bitterness, sour lingering aftertaste.
