Bottle shared at Spyten Dyvil. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Loaded with spices, some mint, and citrus fruit, a touch of flowers and some Etoh.

Bottle from Monument in Concord, CA. Dark amber color with a decent beige head. Interesting complex spice aromas. Something suggests a touch of winter green. Approximately medium body with mild carbonation. Never tasted juniper except in gin, but this seems similar. Maybe a bit like sassafras? It’s a very drinkable ale. Funk is very mild.

Pours deep caramel with minimal head. The nose is spice and juniper. This carries into the flavor. The finish is clean and dry.
