Loaded with spices, some mint, and citrus fruit, a touch of flowers and some Etoh. bhensonb (3009), Woodland, California, USA Sep 23, 2008 Bottle from Monument in Concord, CA. Dark amber color with a decent beige head. Interesting complex spice aromas. Something suggests a touch of winter green. Approximately medium body with mild carbonation. Never tasted juniper except in gin, but this seems similar. Maybe a bit like sassafras? It’s a very drinkable ale. Funk is very mild. AgentSteve (851), SF Bay Area, California, USA Aug 18, 2008 Pours deep caramel with minimal head. The nose is spice and juniper. This carries into the flavor. The finish is clean and dry. ucusty (1213), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Aug 8, 2008 Brown pour with a weird minty like nose. Medium bodied with loads of spice and funk.
