Bottle@Dr. Bills. Poured cloudy with a thin head. I got mint/spearmint from the fruit and spice which finished dry.

750 ml bottle from BevMo: Hazy pale peach color with floaties and a generous bright white head. Aroma is a mixture of spices and tropical fruit. Flavor starts with a combination of spice flavors followed by mixed fruit (peach, green apple, orange) and a tangy dry (orange rind?) finish. Medium body is smooth and creamy with moderate carbonation.

Cloudy amber body with a large off-white head. Crazy spiced nose, I have no clue what it is. Smells like something I might put in a soup. The flavor is lightly sweet, moderately tart with flowers, herbs, light caramels, honey and limes. Medium body is soft with moderate carbonation. That Dany is one crazy mofo.

Pours cloudy orange. Crisp and yeasty nose, lots of spices, some a bit unusual like most fantome offerings, but enjoyable. I’m not sure, but almost basil like herbal flavor to the finish along with some ginger, peppery and dry.

Bottle. Golden amber beer with a nice whitish head. Malty, yeasty, spicy aroma with a bit of fruitiness. Yeasty flavor, slight spice, earthy flavor with nice esters. A bit of bubblegum and a bit of peach/lemon. Not what I was expecting for a "winter" beer, but nice - seems a bit like an estery triple mixed with a saison. Lingering spice and esters with an earthy touch. Great balance and very nice. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Opens with quite a pop and is in danger of gushing. Pours golden with a large white head. Aroma is interesting to say the least, with some spices, a little tartness, and...menthol? Definitely felt that cooling sensation in the back of my throat when I sniffed this one. Taste is quite earthy, with more spiciness coming out. I wish I could pick out individual flavors, but they just weren’t coming to me. Plenty of yeastiness here as well, go figure. Pretty light on the palate and somewhat dry in the finish.

Hey it’s snowing! so what better beer than fantome hiver to celebrate. Wasn’t really sure what to expect since this is my first fantome, but it poured (after actually having to decork it w/ a corkscrew) a lovely clear copper gold with a thick, creamy offwhite head with intricate lacing. Nose is tart yet fruity, ginger and raspberry with a hint of vanilla bean. Frothy yet weightless on the palate, vinegary and earthy, a strong medicinal herbiness towards a dry finish, this is an unusual yet palatable beer. It somewhat underperforms in the flavor department, although it is is well balanced. hmmm...
