| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | May 27, 2005 This copper-colored ale poured with an almost negligible white head. There is a funky lemon scent and an equivalent acidic lemon finish after an initial geuze-like mouth feel. Like most Saisons, this is a satisfying hot weather drink, but the unusually full flavor makes it good for any season. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 2, 2005 Hazy copper with thick head, soury nose, hints of spice everywhere, all over the tongue. Sourness softens to a dry, perfumy-like mustiness. Perfect for all weather, I enjoy it as much in the winter as I do out by the BBQ. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA

An almost bret like lead in. Earthy and soft palate with a prominent bitter citrus finish. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA

Poured cloudy orange with a medium white head. Slightly sour aroma, gueueze-like. Lightly sour flavor with barnyard notes and yeast. Very good. TaktikMTL (2786), Montréal-Nord, Quebec, Canada

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Apr 9, 2005 04.09.05 750ml bottle picked up at Super Saver. Tarnished gold, medium white head that quickly fades. Aromas of lemongrass, white grape, unripe peach, light barnyard, quite fragrant. Flavor has a sharp bitterness throughout and a shot of tart at the end. Complex indeed, this one ranges from lightly citric to musty and biscuity. Grapish in its sour qualities. I love that the top saison are so unique even amongst themselves. Delicious. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 23, 2005 I’m as excited about this one as my last college 3-way (circa 1991). Big thanks to beeryum for popping my Fantome cherry. Pours hazy dark straw with gargantuan white head. Aroma of malt, bread, hopcit, perfumy florals, pears and apricots....nice complex aroma. Tastes malty, fruity, crisp and smooth with multi-layered complexity of flavor. The finish does seem a bit tart and one-dimensional. csbosox (1082), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 20, 2005 Tasted at KC Bier Meisters meeting. Cloudy orange/gold, with a light white head. Coats the glass and drops down. Nose is complex. Slightly sourish, lemon, some barnyard notes. Taste is slightly sour, lemony, spicy?, barnyardy...hard to pinpoint. Later, I got flavors of orange peels and some definate spice. Smooth, moderately full mouthfeel.
