Slightly creamy texture. Overall nice beer. MullMan (1083), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 3, 2005 cloudy golden in color with a thick & foamy head, creamy at the edges. head diminishes fairly quickly. nose is yeasty, cheesy, lemon, stone fruit. also white pepper, other spice & herbs. carbonation is low. tangy yeasty flavor with very smooth palate. medium mouthfeel and well balanced combination of dry funkiness. finish is faintly hoppy and tangy with the peppery yeasty finish. great stuff! heemer77 (4309), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 25, 2005 Pours a cloudy light copper color. A huge active head. The aroma is tart with lemons and some soap. Also hints of dry hay. The taste is a light dry hay and fresh oranges. Whiel the citrus is present, it is not a sweet beer. The mouthfeel is light and refreshing with a fair amount of carbonation. Another nice one from Fantome. DewBrewer (270), Austin, Texas, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 23, 2005 75cL bottle. Clear golden color. Slight head. Flowery aroma with hints of chocolate malt (like the Winter) and that usual Fantome sour/funk. Also peppermint and lemon rind. We never tire of smelling Fantome beers! The flavor is again of chocolate mint, citrus, and flowers. This is a delicious beer, anytime of year. Thanks Humolone Red!! kane (111), USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 1, 2005 What stands out in this beer is the lack of taste. The aroma is a mild must, cobweb. The body is light and the finish is dry. The lack of flavor is a major letdown especially when compared with other Fantome beers I have had. pivo (2537), Germany
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 27, 2004 Perhap one of my favorite Fantome beers. Sour acidic nose, hazy gold color, low head. Heavy malt body with a sour, tart, puckering green apple middle. Piney too. A great aperatif. Good balance. YogiBeera (2437), Hamburg, Germany
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 15, 2004 Hazy orange, fast diminishing head. Sulphury acidic, menthol and pine nose. Dry apple pine taste - long lasting. Dusty - cough, cough - nice. bierkoning (6066), La Tropica, Netherlands
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Dec 15, 2004 Golden color. Creamy head, fading away slowly. Aroma has ripe apricots and is somewhat perfumed. Apricot flavor, tackled by some hops and more herbs. Coreander and nutmeg, maybe, can’t say for sure. The fruit and herbs don’t coïncide, but fight eachother. Still a good and tasty beer, but could be much more balanced.
