Body is hazed amber with millions of minute particles suspended in it. Medium white head. Nose is like moldy old books, spices, yeast and mildew. Odd to be sure but note unappetizing. Taste is spice, yeast light hop profile and musty books along with dusty basement. Weird and very "musty" overall. Could be an old bottle. Body is medium. Finish is spiced and lightly bitter with more mustiness. sloth (1678), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA

Lambic like nose, sour, fruity, musty. Medium body, well carbonated. Malt and fruit flavors, lightly acidic, hints of apples, citrus and wheat malt, peppery notes, grassy hop notes also. Dry fruity finish, refreshing. Thanks Indra! beerhugger (541), Oshawa, Ontario, Canada
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 1, 2004 I’m loving these saisons and lambics and gueuzes lately - although this one was enjoyed a while ago at the gathering at DougShoemaker’s - cheers to Jeremy for supplying this lovely beer. Hazy golden brown w/nice creamy head it offered citrus and vinegar and mustiness derived of the stored riches of vast orchards. Very smooth - almost too smooth - something has to slow me down from quaffing...tart and balanced with a melange of fruits throughout (apple? peach? grape?) and then a beautiful sour lingering finish. Yum. Sickboy282 (1100), San Diego, California, USA

Aromas of sourness, yeast, hops, citrus and a slight doughiness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a very tingly feel on the back of the throat. Flavors of spice, more spice, very bubbly on the palate with more flavors of mmmmm... carbonation and more spice. egajdzis (3631), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma was citrusy, lots of dry yeast, some barnyard, and also some spicy hoppiness. Also lots of citrus, some tart lemon, muscat grapes, and chardonay in the taste, some cream, more yeast and lightly spicy. A very nice saison, glad I was able to track this one down!
