An unclear dark orange beer with a fine orange head. The aroma is sour with notes of yeast and oranges. The flavor is dominated by yeast but also has notes of coriander.

Cloudy orange coloured. Spicy and fruity aroma. Very funky. Fruity, spicy and hoppy flavour with notes of yeast and bitterness in the finish. Light and fresh. Funny.

Bottle. Large white head and fine-small sized bubbles that mostly diminished. Fast rising carbonation, transparent and a golden hue. Malty, fruity, spicy and a hint of clove in the aroma. Sweet, somewhat acidic, malty, tart and somewhat sour flavor. Smooth palate. Medium bodied and sparse lacing.

Corked marked with brewery’s telephone number! This bottled brew poured a large sized head if finely sized white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a poor lacing. The body was a carbonated transparent yellow color. The aroma is floral and typical of a saison. The mouth feel was smooth with a doughy malty flavor with a mild hop aftertaste that is constant from start to finish. The flavor contains notes of bready dough malt mild hops floral and maybe a few other thing, but they are so well blended and mixed together that it is hard to pick the others out of the cacophony of flavors.

2004 Gathering at Tiggmtl: Lighlty cloudy golden with a thick white head. Rich semi-sweet caramely farmhouse aroma. Body is light and effervescent with a nice licorice, anise, and toffee flavor. Overcarbonated and a little off-balance, but still a decent brew. Thanks to whoever brought this bottle to the gathering.

Typical massive Fantome head. Very dense and creamy and a very nice ivory color. The orange body is quite cloudy. This beer looks freaking incredible in the glass! The aroma is spicy and bready with hints of fresh friuts, smells like a Fantome. What flavors, no particular flavor stands out but there are many of them swirling about in there. Simply amazing how the flavors are so subtle but yet they all work together to create an amazing overall experience. The palate is also amazing, smooth with a good amount of bitterness that creeps up on you. Very clean spicy finish. An exceptional offering from a wonderful brewery. Thanks a bunch to Indra for sending this my way. The eagle has truly landed!

Aroma: honey, straw, mint, spiciness, sweet/tartness--like a gueze, black pepper, grass, and a mixture of glue or adhesives?
Appearance: hibiscus yellow, small head, slight lacing
Flavor: spicy, strong mint, woodiness, grass, bark or wood chips, chalkiness, and grapefruit
Palate: smooth but bubbly, incredibly strong mint flavor--too much for me, slight grass or hay aftertaste

2004 Mondial de la Biere Ratebeer Gathering at Tiggmtl’s. Pale golden colour. Hazy, almost opaque. Thick fizzy and frothy white head. Lemon, banana, spicy, and yeasty aroma. Slight acidity, some bready notes, and a citric fruitiness. Dryish and full mouthfeel.
