Pale golden pour with a thick, pillowy white head. The nose is lovely. Soft light sweetness and a touch of soft yeasty spiciness. Fairly citric and lemony with a touch of light oxidized malts that give it a bit more cobwebby rusticity. Funky and tart with lemon peel, grass/hay and a touch of brett cologne-like character. There is even a light touch of mintiness on the back. Excellent balance. A tasty, refreshing, quaffable brew. beerchugger (293), Colorado, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 22, 2009 Pours a light hazy golden color with a soft pillowy head that remains and leaves nice lacing on the glass. The aroma is rather interesting. My first impression is of fruit, like apples and bananas; then some spice moves in a little later. It also has a bit of candy, sugary aroma to it as well. Some initial sweetness followed by a bit of fruit as described in the aroma. Then some earth and grass/hay moving into spice and a bit sour. The finish is light, slightly bitter. A rather light beer, perfect for the hot summer months. This is a definite pleasure to enjoy. marcus (1853), Sacramento, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 13, 2009 This hazy golden ale poured with a thin off-white head and a pleasant, but musty, fruit aroma. Its flavor is fruity and quite a bit more sour than most saisons I have tried. Its refreshing character is much appreciated, since it is 100 degrees F here today and of course my air conditioner just broke down. This brew is also very tasty with some interesting spice. clingman71 (249), Centerville, Ohio, USA

Aroma of spice and some fruit, along with some old fermenting funky grass. Flavor is everything from the aroma along with some hay. A nice grassy, spicy saison, solid. Saisons are so refreshing, all seem to have similar characteristics, and yet remain unique. Maddog (236), Kettering, Ohio, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 9, 2009 A very complex, tasty saison with floral and fruit in the nose and cloudy in appearance. Flavor notes of spice, fruit, grass, hay and Belgian yeast. Very tasty and unique, like all saisons, this one has so many different flavors, aromas and unique characteristics and taste profiles. You never know quite what you are going to get from a saison. marchcow (664), Coralville, Iowa, USA
