Poured a nice dark orange-copper color with a light tan head. Aroma was grassy and combined a meld of spices. Flavor suggested apples, cloves, anise, and had an oddly appealing peppery heat at the end that lingered in conjunction with a mild sourness.

I wish I could get a janitorial job at Fantome. i would then mop the floors and proceed to drink the dirty mop water. It would probably still taste very good.

A big pop when this one opens. Amber body and quite hazy. Massive rocky and frothy head with gentle lacing. Aroma is yeasty with some black pepper, cloves, mint and citrus hops. Flavour is sweet at the front with peach and pepper before mellowing out and turning sour, drier and hoppier. There is a lingering of burntness that is quite unique.

The aroma had soury fermented fruit, sea water, coriander, flowers, and cinnimon. The beer poured a yellow color with gold highlights, slight lasting head and lacing. The flavor had soury fermented fruit, spices, malts, and flowers. The mouthfeel was light and carbonated with a dry finish.

750mL bottle courtesy of Degarth. Pours a murky rust color with a decent-sized tan head. A musty, floral aroma with hints of tangy citrus and spiciness. Starts off quite sour with some lemons and tangerines. Finishes with some grassy and bitter dryness. An herbal body underneath it all with hints of mint and pepper. Soft body. Each Fantome beer I try makes me wanna step up my herb game.

750ml bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a small off white head. Nose is grassy and lightly sour with a dryness to it. Palate is lightly tingly with a very nice mouthfeel, kinda fluffy but goes down easy. Flavor is grassy and sour with some nice funkiness to it. A nice light hop character to it and a crisp clean finish.
