Aug 19, 2004 A nice saison but, then again, everything from Fantome seems to be pretty nice. Very earthy flavors in this one along with some good spice notes and a GREAT color and head. A very nice brew.

Aug 15, 2004 750ml-sampled at Keith’s condo-pous a cloudy orange hue with whispy white head-aroma of sour apples, grapes and slight corriander. flavros are slightly sour and grainy hops. short finish and not very complex Thanks to drunkasaskunk for this one!

Storm season has officially begun around here, and once the wetness stops, let’s pray these April showers that come our way better bring some pretty damn gorgeous flowers that bloom in May! Anyway, to honor the start of the season, let’s have some spring saison, eh?
Hazy, pale orange appearance, transparent at glass’s foot, with a good, 1/2" fluffy head
Nose is yeasty and citric, musty, sour, heavy on the lemon.
Spritzy play on the palate at first, brightly tangy,with an everlasting tickle on the tongue, brisk and refreshing. Lightish body, beautiful texture, solid mouthfeel, goes down ever-so easily, like any saison should.
8%? They fooled me!
An excellent way to toast the demise, at last, of winter!
Now, to say goodbye to all this rain!

Aug 8, 2004 This is a good Saison light and not overpowering. Malty, yeasty, and sweet flavors. Finishes rich, creamy, and smooth.

Aug 2, 2004 Hazy copper, loosely formed but long lasting and large light tan head. Aroma is surprisingly restrained, with notes of apple, orange, wet pennies, and very distant funk. Smooth mouthfeel with a definite toffee malt note, undefined fruit, and some bitterness on the finish. Almost English somehow. This is a Fantome with training wheels. Aug 1, 2004 Spicy citrus aroma, herbal. Medium hops, low malt. Apple cider. Cloudy light orange amber with small white head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts spicy herbal bitter, low acidity. Finish is herbal bitter. Light chalky bitter after.

Clear orange color, nice head & lacing. The aroma has bright hops & a decent barny malt & brettanomyces nose. The flavor is full & yeasty with some fruity light hops. Fresh & clear for Fantome, but still good.
