Commercial Description:
Light, fruity and champagne-like. Fantôme brews special seasonal beers, never repeating a recipe from year to year. This one is for spring . . .

[Sampled in Rudme in the TDK-forum (Topas Drinking Klub) with the Asian Swamp-group.]
Muddy orange look with no head and an aroma of nice sour citruselements. Flavor is similar added with amounts of hops over average, peaches, fruits particular, grapefruit, summerbeernotes and indeed a brew for further investigation. Very cozy and swanky beer. Of an only art!

Another wild one from Fantome. . . but I hate to say that this wasn't my favorite: lingers well on the palate a bit too bitter on the front end. . . Some soft apple flavour - light brown, great aromatics, it is the flavour that is lacking.

750ml bottle. No vintage. Aroma is crisp, refreshing, slightly funky and very outdoor-sy. A hint of coconut meat. Dusty leaf pile. Cut flowers. A slight impression of wet wood. Wheat malt and aged hops. Frutiness and dustiness play well with each other. Pours a slightly hazed dark, thick copper. Hoppier and mustier on the tongue than on the nose. Wet grass, pear meat, earthy yeast and a touch of pineapple funk. Celery salt. Dry grape stem. Richer wheat malt leads to a nic bitter grape stem finish. Creamy texture. Rich, but not overbearing carbonation. Finishes with a touch of earthy mustiness. Another winner from Fantome.

Hazy golden yellow beer with a thick and fluffy head. Tons of lemon, apricot, and a dose of funk in the aroma. THe flavor is tangy and tart with lots of light summer fruit and a subdued funkiness at the end. Easy to drink and enjoyable. Especially for a Fantome.

At RBSG, I barely remember this one. Hazy dark golden pour with nose and flavor funky and barnyard influencees.

2001 bottle. Cloudy amber color, nice creamy thick white head. Apple, spice, sweet herbal woody yeast aroma. Soft buttery cinnamon apple taste. I liked this one.... not too much of anything, and nicely delicate.

Bottled at ZBF 2006, Sint-Niklaas, Belgium - Dany told me it was still very young.
Murky, amber body. Off-white head. Very interesting, sourish aroma of horse blanket, earth, banana, tawny port. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter initial flavour. Lightly bitter finish. Lightly to medium bodied. Lively carbonation. A nice Fantome brew.
