Light, fruity and champagne-like. Fantôme brews special seasonal beers, never repeating a recipe from year to year. This one is for spring . . .

Bottle. Really lovely nice and soft. Orange rind, spicey and delictae. Light, but it sure manages to cover most corners of the mouth, which is quite astonishing. Very nice.

Pale, hazy gold. Slight white head. Strangely behaving yeast (floats!). Herbal nose, and aroma of (Belgian) vegetable deepfrying oil. Yeasty, malt, grain. Overly bitter taste – dandelion-flavour, definitely, “bitter salad”, not hoppy. Malty underbuild. Medium bodied. Good carbonation. Fiery bitter from main taste is medium longlasting, no new aftertaste. Dany P. has used dandelion (pissenlit) often in his beers. I’m not a fan of this addition, and I’m afraid it shows in the rating. A “Saison” of 8% ABV, indeed!

Cloudy yellow colour with a white head. Malty, fruity and light sweet aroma with vague tart notes and hints of yeast. Fruity, light sweet flavor with yeasty and acidic notes. Light dry, citric finish.

Inveterate minty vertebrates over wise spicy hop vivacity...Palatial hay harboring grapefruit acidity, abbatial green apple peels shadowing basil leaves...An accomplishment of soft amorousness and sagacious abundance...

Bottled: Light yellow dusty colour. Fluffy white head. Yeast, malt and light citric notes in the aroma. Flavour is slightly smoked and very citric. Is sour, dry and fruity. Has some spicy notes. Has a grapish end.

2003 vintage. Bottle shared by beastiefan2k (I think). Pale golden pour with a thick, pillowy white head. The nose is lovely. Soft light sweetness and a touch of soft yeasty spiciness. Fairly citric and lemony with a touch of light oxidized malts that give it a bit more cobwebby rusticity. Funky and tart with lemon peel, grass/hay and a touch of brett cologne-like character. There is even a light touch of mintiness on the back. Excellent balance. A tasty, refreshing, quaffable brew.

Taste of corn and flour tortillas hits me really hard up front. Aroma of cannibas and vegetables... primarily cabbage. Light and slightly thin, it had a huge, bright bubbly feel to it, with some flavors of ginger and bread. Have to be honest and say that I don't care for the vegetable flavor... not my thing. Thanks to Mike for sharing this.

The body’s a light amber and somewhat hazy. The head is a pale tan and lingers only shortly, its lacing sliding down the glass and back into the ale as you drink. Nice tart, funky aroma, fruity, lightly floral, with a splash of watered honey. Nice tart flavor with a soft/sharp malt, spices, an herbal bitterness, sor apples and lemons, a soapy yeast, and a touch of alcohol. The finish is dry and satisfying. Another good one from Fantôme. I wish I could remember where the heck I picked it up recently.
