May 21, 2004 Rather sweet nose, cinnamon spice, sweet pepper, light toffee. Complex aroma yes, but that’s not what I expected. Light tartness, some green apple, some woody feel, earthy trends. Pleasant display, much more organized than chaotic aroma.

Jul 29, 2004 Orange gold color. Medium head. Aroma is fruity and funky. Touches of leather and must. A medium bodied ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Very funky, bananas, leather and musty. Dry finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with a little bit of funk.

May 16, 2004 Hazy caramel colour with a fluffy white head. Brown sugar and spice in the aroma. Slightest hint of tartness in the background.

Oct 8, 2008 Bottle. Pours a Golden brown body with an off white head. The nose is an incredible lemon zest. Yeasty bready flavor spices of pepper and cinnamon lemon and citrus. Some etoh coming though.

Jun 17, 2004 Bottled capped and corked with markings of 086/477044. The brew poured a large sized head of frothy medium sized white colored long lasting bubbles that left behind a good lacing. the body was a uncarbonated hazy dark yellow color. The aroma contained notes of fruity bananas apricots and malt. The mouth feel was tingly and sharp with a mild lingering fruity aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt mild delicate hops banana apricot dough and other flowery notes.

Dec 3, 2007 #2 [Blind tasting session @ Papsoe 30-11-2007] Average white fizzy head that mostly diminished. Cloudy to muddy golden color. Fair lacework. First impression was somewhat moldy with notes of caramel, fruit, spicy, and citrus. Don’t think the sour notes were intended. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and hint of dry texture. Light sweet and acidic. Light spicy and acidic like finish.
