Commercial Description:
Light, fruity and champagne-like. Fantôme brews special seasonal beers, never repeating a recipe from year to year. This one is for spring . . .

the cork exploded out of the bottle. the body is cloudy golden yellow with a big creamy, pillowy tall white head. lots of fiss in the body. aroma is lightly sour, dried apricot, barnyard too. body is light to medium, lots of carbonation. dry and tangy flavor, some sweet stone fruityness like peach and apricot. a little peppery like mild white pepper. faint dryish alcohol finish but very pleasant. what a great spring saison, a nice way to come down from alcohol heavy winter beers, while still being a bold saison.

Cloudy gold color with almost no head. Musty/earthy aroma. Flavor starts off tart with unidentifiable spices in the background. Finishes crisp, clean and dry. A really nice saison.

This hazy golden ale poured with a thin off-white head and a pleasant, but musty, fruit aroma. Its flavor is fruity and quite a bit more sour than most saisons I have tried. Its refreshing character is much appreciated, since it is 100 degrees F here today and of course my air conditioner just broke down. This brew is also very tasty with some interesting spice.

I wish I could get a janitorial job at Fantome. i would then mop the floors and proceed to drink the dirty mop water. It would probably still taste very good.

Poured a nice dark orange-copper color with a light tan head. Aroma was grassy and combined a meld of spices. Flavor suggested apples, cloves, anise, and had an oddly appealing peppery heat at the end that lingered in conjunction with a mild sourness.

750ml bottle (2006) from Kingdom Liquors Brandon, Fl. Pours a slightly hazy amber wit a small log lasting white head. Aroma of black pepper, light fruits, slight barnyard, and herbal hops. Taste is the same with a slightly peppery and fruity begining and dry tart finish. Another wonderfull beer from Fantôme.

750 ml bottle into a Tulip glass. Pours a somewhat dark to light hazy orange with a big fluffy white head. The aroma blasts off with a fruity, flowery, and very spicey nose with citrus and pear being noticable. The flavor has many notes of the nose being quite peppery. Also having notes of dried fruit, old yeast, grass, and big notes of just farms in general. The body is somewhat thick and it leaves a coating on the palate throughout the spicey finish. The spice sticks around for up to a half an hour after a sip! I love Fantome, and would love to be able to find this more often!!!!

Abso-fucking-lutely, beautiful beer. Tons of lemon, funk, fusty brett. That’s about it. Taste is slightly sweet, tart lemon, brett, spices, and barnyard and a touch of piny-bitter hops. Finish is slightly sweet, a bit of a hop bite on the finish that melds with the sweetness of the malt and the crisp lemon of the beer. Tastes a bit like a ginger-lemon beer without the ginger and a bit of hops and larger, more complex malt backbone. In other words, a completely different beer than the one I mentioned. Palate is a bit cloying, but at 8 percent what can you expect? Also very well carbonated, fizzy and slightly dry. Yum
