Pours a hazy gold/orange color with a small white head. Lemon zest, sweet spice cake, and a touch of yeast in the aroma. Taste starts out sweet, light, earthy. Finish is loaded with citrus flavors, mainly lemon. Quite complex, but light bodied, it’s another great offering from Fantome.

Bottle. Sweet crystal and light lemon rind aroma. Nicely acidic flavor - toasty malt under lemon juice and weed stem. Refreshing stuff.

Bottled at ZBF 2006, Sint-Niklaas, Belgium - Dany told me it was still very young.
Murky, amber body. Off-white head. Very interesting, sourish aroma of horse blanket, earth, banana, tawny port. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter initial flavour. Lightly bitter finish. Lightly to medium bodied. Lively carbonation. A nice Fantome brew.

Hazy/cloudy blonde/gold. White head, funky, yeast and spice nose. Not particularly as good as the other Fantomes Ive had recently. None the less, herbal, bitter, dry, citrus, cereal, spices, sour, tangy, dusty, dry. The more I had, the more I enjoyed it.

An opaque dark amber beer with a fine off-white dense head. The aroma is sweet with notes of yeast and fruit. The flavor is sweet and sour with notes of grapefruit, citrus, roasted bread, malt, and hints of coffee. A nice beer from a good brewery.

2001 bottle. Cloudy amber color, nice creamy thick white head. Apple, spice, sweet herbal woody yeast aroma. Soft buttery cinnamon apple taste. I liked this one.... not too much of anything, and nicely delicate.

Pours a pale cloudy yellow, very active, nice fluffy white head that dissipates nicely with a careful pour. Aroma of spice and some fruit, along with some old fermenting funky grass. Flavor is everything from the aroma along with some hay. A nice grassy, spicy saison, solid. Saisons are so refreshing, all seem to have similar characteristics, and yet remain unique.
