Jan 10, 2005 2001 bottle. Cloudy amber color, nice creamy thick white head. Apple, spice, sweet herbal woody yeast aroma. Soft buttery cinnamon apple taste. I liked this one.... not too much of anything, and nicely delicate.

Aug 9, 2009 Updated: Aug 12, 2009Pours a pale cloudy yellow, very active, nice fluffy white head that dissipates nicely with a careful pour. Aroma of spice and some fruit, along with some old fermenting funky grass. Flavor is everything from the aroma along with some hay. A nice grassy, spicy saison, solid. Saisons are so refreshing, all seem to have similar characteristics, and yet remain unique.

Sep 4, 2006 The aroma had soury fermented fruit, sea water, coriander, flowers, and cinnimon. The beer poured a yellow color with gold highlights, slight lasting head and lacing. The flavor had soury fermented fruit, spices, malts, and flowers. The mouthfeel was light and carbonated with a dry finish.

May 8, 2007 This was a nice change of pace on tap. Crisp, a bit tart. Nice color, earthier than the saison. But nice on a nice day.

Jul 10, 2005 25oz - Aroma is pungent with wet hay, swampy green growth, and tons of spices. Pours a nice thick head over a cloudy yellow body leaving great lacing. Flavor is tangy and musty, layered with spice. The yeast and malt show up, but only for a minute. Palate is sticky and bubbly. An intriguing and fun brew.

Aug 9, 2009 A very complex, tasty saison with floral and fruit in the nose and cloudy in appearance. Flavor notes of spice, fruit, grass, hay and Belgian yeast. Very tasty and unique, like all saisons, this one has so many different flavors, aromas and unique characteristics and taste profiles. You never know quite what you are going to get from a saison.

Jan 24, 2008 750 ml green bottle poured a hazy gold with a lasting creamy white head. Ar4omas of straw, mint, lemon and light spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, lemon, mint and light spice with a crisp dry lightly bitter finish.

Aug 5, 2006 750ml bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a small off white head. Nose is grassy and lightly sour with a dryness to it. Palate is lightly tingly with a very nice mouthfeel, kinda fluffy but goes down easy. Flavor is grassy and sour with some nice funkiness to it. A nice light hop character to it and a crisp clean finish.
