Cloudy and medium golden; fluffy white head. Soft and smooth; light and creamy carbonation. Malty (cookies, bread dough) and yeasty throughout. Very balancing bitterness. Spicy aroma. Finish is kind of drying and lingers with quite a few flavors (sweet orange, zesty lemon, big pepper, gentle clove, and some other spices I can’t seem to define). Pleasant beer. Fairly easy to drink, but it still kept my interest through the whole bottle.

Golden amber with a homogeneous light haze, the foam sits like a layer of off-white gelatin bubbling on the top. There’s not much of a nose on this. The hop bitter mixes so well with the alcohol and hops that the taste almost disappears. There is an aftertaste that hits with a tantalizing hint of a different type, quite difficult to place. This is nice, but very, very subtle, listen closely.

Very large light orange colored head of medium sized bubbles. Dense and creamy on top. Awesome carbonation. Spicy grassy aroma. Lots of pepper and straw. Color is a dark orangish brown. Spicy and dry and a little tart. Fizzy in the mouth. Little dandelion greens and some other bitter green leafy stuff. Dry and lingering spicy aftertaste. Some bitter hops presence also. Little noticable alcohol and warming. Palate is a little thicker that most saisons. More malts that most. A decent saison.

75 cL bottle, tulip glass. Average, creamy white head. Hazy, light yellow body. Bread and hay malt (M); flower and perfume hops (M); doughy yeast (L); banana, clove, pear aromas. Moderately sweet, lightly acidic flavor becomes a lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter finish. Medium body, watery/oily texture, lively carbonation, building bitter finish. The bottom line is: very tasty!!! Tart and refreshing just like lemonade.

Tap, ZBF 2004. Faintly hazy gold, low white head and moderate condition. Spicy fruit and yeast in the nose with some cinnamon and mulled wine spices noticable, full bodied sweet and tangily spicy in the mouth and a powdery dryness in the finish, but still with a lingering spiciness.

Bottle. Blonde color, cloudy. Strong peppery aroma with seaweed, licorice, coreander, orange and sesame seed. Sweetish flavor with lemon, grapefruit, licorice, sesame seed and coreander. Wit less emphasis on the added herbs this would be a great beer, now it’s a good beer.
