| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 30, 2007 Pours cloudy yellow with a huge, foamy white head. Aroma is musty, zesty, pepper, something familiar I cannot pinpoint. Very nice balance between sourness and smoothness in the flavor. Drinkable yet quite flavorful. Yeasty, tart, and a little citrusy, grapes. This is my first fantome beer but certainly not my last. changeup45 (802), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 21, 2008 This is my first Fantome so I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect or if I’d even like this. Pours a dirty amber color, maybe calling it brown is more accurate, with a huge fluffy head. I had to let this one settle down a bit. The aroma has floral notes, spices, yeast, and a malty-grass scent. A lot of that comes out in the flavor as well with the addition of a peppery, spicy, but also sour, barnyard, funky taste. There’s a bit of an alcohol bite here too. This is a good beer, quite a bit there to keep me interested the whole way through. I sat on this for a while after purchase and I am not sure why. I will seek more of these unique brews from Fantome out. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 15, 2005 Pours deep gold with a white bubbly head. Aroma is somewhat skunky and light lemons. Flavor is slightly oxidized with a great hoppy grassiness. Some band-aid flavors. Dry hoppiness. Pretty clean but that house character still shines through. Very refreshing, fruity enjoyable, and above all else, fascinating.

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 2, 2005 Liveliest of all Fantomes, this one is always cherrylike to me, something like a black cherry wine product. Of course, that taste is always mingling with the strange spices and mustiness that I expect from these dusty hard-to-find bottles. My last experience saw half of the bottle pour over as foam. radiomgb (2070), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 24, 2004 Murky orange in colour. Aroma of apples, pears, oranges, cider and yeast. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 27, 2003 Bright glowing golden brown color, very cloudy, floating chunks. Full bodied yet soft on the palate. Fruity but no particular fruit stands out. A mildly burning spice kicks in seconds after the swallow. Wild stuff.
