Apr 10, 2004 Cloudy golden color,small white head that faded quickly and left little behind.Nice light malt and fruity aroma mild hints of spice and orange.The flavor is nicely done with a mild orange and spice mild malt and a nicely done hop presence.I could definately see my self drinking a few of these after plowing the field.Very easy to drink and refreshing.Thanks to Nexxus for sending this fine brew.

Jul 13, 2003 Honey glowing with a tight swathy offwhite head almost reminisent of nitro. Floral nose w/ honey continuing into the mouth with, plants and olives. Soft thik mouthfeel like a warm humis day backed up by fine carbonation. Alcohol is jsut not present finishing with olive bread

May 23, 2006 Pretty damn sure this is a fresh bottle of the 2006 vintage: Dark orange, nice white head, fairly perfect carbonation level. Earthy orange peel aroma, strong, slight strawberry undertone, all most ashy and autumnal as well but fresh...herbal, lemon verbena, bay leaf, thyme,etc. Flavor is...WHOA, quite bitter but not so mich hop bitter, chicory maybe, echinacea? Sweet malt and herbal/bitter aftertaste finishing dry and flavorsome, no sourness...very nicely crafted.

Nov 19, 2004 Pours a very hazy gold with a ginormous head. Aroma is typical saison farmhouse funk, grassy, herbal, and musty. Flavor is nice, there’s a sharp bite initially, which fades into a smooth grassy hoppiness. Finishes dry and tart.

Jan 2, 2005 Hazy golden with great creamy head and lacing. Citrus/apricot, almost mint with a nice underlining funk. Creamy texture. Great flavors of honey and apricot with spicy notes. Very nice saison/spring seasonal.

Storm season has officially begun around here, and once the wetness stops, let’s pray these April showers that come our way better bring some pretty damn gorgeous flowers that bloom in May! Anyway, to honor the start of the season, let’s have some spring saison, eh?
Hazy, pale orange appearance, transparent at glass’s foot, with a good, 1/2" fluffy head
Nose is yeasty and citric, musty, sour, heavy on the lemon.
Spritzy play on the palate at first, brightly tangy,with an everlasting tickle on the tongue, brisk and refreshing. Lightish body, beautiful texture, solid mouthfeel, goes down ever-so easily, like any saison should.
8%? They fooled me!
An excellent way to toast the demise, at last, of winter!
Now, to say goodbye to all this rain!
