WOW! What a great saison! I won’t do another full rating, but after I opened this beer I waited for the full 4 finger white head to settle and I could smell the light fruit, the lemon and funk from a few feet away. The taste was superb. Strong lemongrass, citrus and a horse blanket thick funkiness in the aftertaste. So fruity and easy to drink with so little alcohol detectable. Nice sour aftertaste. How could anyone not like this?

Delicious saison by a bewer who knows how to do it. Aroma was a nice funky mix of barnyard floor and wet blanket. Pour was a nice light gold with a one finger white head and lots of tiny bubbles. Taste was crisp and refreshing. The funk is full and relentless. Lemon, grass and pear are in the front with an almost sugary sweet aftertaste. I did not care for that sweetness and that hurts it in my opinion. Nice bitey carbonation. Very delicious. michael-pollack (2679), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured dark yellow/straw in color with a large, creamy, white head that lasted throughout. Very sparkling. Cloudy. Full of medium-sized particles. Good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of fruit, spices, pear, peach, syrup from canned fruit salad, and a bit of hops. Medium body. Chalky texture. Lively carbonation. Dry, fruity finish. Juelze (901), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 9, 2008 Thanks to my bro for tasting this brew! Pours a very cloudy straw color with white frothy head. Aroma is of yeast, light cherry, strawberry and citrus. Taste is of yeast, fruit (cherry, strawberry) and some light basement funk. Palate is nothing special IMHO. This beer, although not bad in any way, does not live up to it’s hype. The conflict between the flavors in it do not interest me at all. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 9, 2008 Pours an ultra-hazy golden color with a medium foamy head with some streams of lacing. It almost looks like a slushy! Aroma is sweet with citrus with a bit of bitter funk. Taste is about the same sour oakiness. Good, but could use more funk. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 9, 2008 Pours tawny yellow w/ an elegant white creamy froth that rises and comes down slowly to a snowy, silky canopy and a thick, fluffy ring. Aromas of aged citrus, fruit, and herb. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. Flavors are slightly tart, bright and crispy w/ citrus overtones, mild coriander and banana, herbs, and white pepper. The finish is bittered nicely leaving a mild fruity after taste. This is a classic and very complex. plovmand (1688), Helsinge, Denmark
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours cloudy golden with a big long lasting head. In the nose I catch lots of fresh fruit like strawberry and black currant combined with yeast. Fantastic!
Flavour is very fresh. Notes of more fresh fruit like lemon and peach is here too. It ends up in a dry slightly bitter taste. Pearly body.
I need more of this! Tenderstone (25), Renton, Washington, USA

Poured an amber color with red sediment swirling around like a little asteroid field. Nice foamy white head, that dissipated by the time I had gotten my eyeful. Scent was of peach, with notes of alcohol. Flavors included cantaloupe, apple, and grape. Lightly dry finish that is not overly dry. Worth a second bottle to have on hand. beerbill (1950), Laurel, New York, USA

Pours a cloudy pale gold with a large white head that lasted through most of the glass and left lots of lace as the head receded.Very pleasant aroma of lemon, lighty yeast, with some subtle sour notes detected as well. Very flavorful with lemon, tart apples, cloves and yeast all present. Refreshingly effervescent and light on the palate. A delightful saison.
