This special brew offered from Far West at the Bellingham "Brewer’s Night" is unique due to its intense usage of Simcoe hops. The biggest influence these hops have on the beer is through a massive, and very very interesting perfumey aroma. The flowery aroma is filled with a sweetness that almost but not quite overpowers the intense bitterness found in the flavor. The biggest downside these hops offer is the premature end in the finish, as well as a slightly one-dimensional flavor that is primarily bitter citrus. This was a very lopsided beer.
