Commercial Description:
This slightly dry extra stout gets its name from the city of Dublin, which in Gaelic is Duibh Linn, or Black Pool, an apt name for this dark and creamy ale. Black Pool tastes great by itself or combined with Fianna Red Lager in a "Red 'n' Tan." It also works well with our Ploughman’s Platter, with seafood, or even in an ice cream float (!).

Black bodied of course, witha resilient creamy top of chocolate. Moderately sweet roasted aroma that carries well. Surprisinly smooth bodied, but lacking flavor except for a touch of chocolate and a slightly metallic/tinny finish.
