Commercial Description:
The Ranger is an intensely hopped, fruity, bold India Pale Ale named after the famous Irish regiment. The Connaught Rangers, nicknamed "The Devil’s Own," served many years in India and, by divine order of the British Army, drank IPA, a beer whose high hop content and dry finish could withstand the long sea voyage from England to India.

22oz Bomber No Freshness date A golden orange colored brew with a magnificent frothy head and great retention. This is a great IPA and a very fresh tasting one also. Wonderful hoppy aroma with lots of fruity citrus notes as well as some doughy notes also. Nice medium bodied that is smooth and with substance. Flavor is fruity and hoppy with a nice bitterness in the finish. Nice fruity tones in the flavor also with a good malt backbone. This was a pleasant surprise and a great west coast IPA. Thanks Andre'.

Medium orange color. Small white foamy head. Aroma is very fruity, citrusy and floral. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are citrusy and grapefruity. Nice balanced. Has a definite Pacific North West hop character, yet it’s mostly the malt fruitiness that shines through on this beer. Really not to style, but it very drinkable and worth seeking out. Don’t let all the malt sweetness fool you; there are still a lot of hops in this beer. Nice dry finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Well, I had this after a few, so it wasn't a great rate. But, hoppheads, this will give you love. Lots of bitterness, with a damaging bitter aroma. Quite a strong IPA, nothing really wrong with it, but nothing exceptional.

Impressive; I can't think of anything detractive to say about this at all. Pours a nice amber with a fantastic head that lasts forever and leaves a nice lace. Scent is pure floral hops. Taste is solid for the style. Definate PNW hops with the citrus presence, but there is just enough sweetness to keep this balanced. Mouthfeel is full yet crisp. Overall this is about as "to style" as an IPA gets. Very nicely done.

22 oz. bomber. Very nice art work on the label. Beer pours dark golden with a big fluffy barely off white head that is fully retained. Head is composed of quite large bubbles. Aroma is hoppy, with notes of grapefruit. Flavor is nicely hoppy. Hops are front and center, but not overbearing. Good IPA, but I could actually stand even more hops.

The beer pours to a slightly hazy deep amber color with the head Herculean in size, creamy in consistency and the color a beauteous light tan with the lace a satin sheet to obscure the glass. Aroma of the hops flowers, earthy, sweet malt and a marvelous freshness I associate with IPA’s, start is delectable in its sweetness, the malt delightful with the top moderate in its feel to the palate. Finish has a brash acidity, the hops omnipotent and the aftertaste dry and slightly hop bitter, a fine representative to the sub-style India Pale Ale, this brewery is rising rapidly on my most favorite list, must find some more.

Cloudy golden brown with hints of strawberry jam, honey and a flowers in the nose while the body is fairly well balanced giving way to some sweet malt then leading to a moderate 64 IBU bitterness in the end.

Nice dark golden color, small white head that lasted for a short time but managed to leave a decent lace behind. The aroma was definately hoppy with a strong grapefruit and pine tone coming through nicely. The flavor was hoppy and grapefruit with a nice bitter grapefruit finish. One hell of a brew, nicely done and the hops just reach out and grab you.I know a few hop heads that would love to get there hands on this brew.
