Light "pop" of the cork, a bit of fizziness that quickly subsides in the golden/straw body which is just faintly hazy and bubbly....earthy, mineralic/chalky hints in the autumnal-sweet cider-apple nose, old Russets with hints of Empire perhaps....very smooth, eminently quaffable body, just beautifully balanced on the dry/sweet chart, with very little alcohol noticeable and a lovely hint of caramel sweetness at the finish...low to moderate carbonation, a real pleasure to drink with just enough complexity to retain interest through the bottle, enough easy roughness to make you enjoy that finish. Possibly the best from this solid cidery.
