MoritzF (3883), Ruhrpott, Germany Sep 27, 2007 (bottle, with thanks to Quack-Duck) Cloudy, light-orange colour with a moderate foamy white head. Yeasty, medium-sweet, distinctive grainy aroma with a light wheat-character and notes of citrus and banana. Light-sweet flavour with a minimal level of acidity, light to medium bodied, almost fizzy carbonation. Wheat-malty, slightly yeasty taste with moderate fruity accents; wheaty and fruity finish with restrained clovy notes, which I appreciate. Decent, refreshing Hefe-Weizen. Daredevil (77), Bern, Switzerland Aug 28, 2007 this muddy yellow brew is a very easy to drink and thirst quenching German Weizen ... smell and taste are dominated by peach, however the brew is not ’sticky’ ... nothing really special, but a good average Weizen, and that is a good start, isn’t it? Slayer85 (457), Firenze, Italy Aug 3, 2007 Draught. A cloudy orange beer with a not so big foamfor the style. The aroma is wheaty and yeasty. powerful flavour of banana and wheat. Medium body. Not so bad. Quack-Duck (1905), Bodensee, Germany Jul 21, 2007 bottle. Pale yellow, cloudy, nice head. Yeasty flavours with hints of banana and malt. Wheat is also detectable. Good Hefeweizen!
