Aug 12, 2008 On tap on Malta. Clear amber brown colour, thick creamy head. Aroma of caramel and water, some malts. Flavour is very soft, caramel, slightly roasted malts, a slight bitterness. Dry finish, creamy mouthfeel. Nice.

Jun 4, 2008 Nitrokeg at the Red Lion, Qawra, Malta. Typical nitrokeg, poured with large flat creamy head. Very light in colour! Almost a pils yellow! Has the recipe changed since previous ratings? Served far too cold for an ale so I couldnt taste much. Definitely a mild. The next time I try it I won’t be in such a hurry and will give it time to warm up.

Jun 21, 2006 Medium offwhite head. Darkish brown body. Sweet perfumed caramel malts aroma with some pine needle hops and notes of pepper and cinnamon. Sweet, roasty taste with quite a bit of sharpish, dry hops. Some wood. Aftertaste is dry, watery wood. Quite good, if a bit sharp and odd. (0.355l can.)

May 25, 2006 Can. Amber with a large off-white foam. Aromas are sweet light malts with lots of perfumed soap. Has some earthy hops, but overall its like sniffing a bar of traditional soap (odd, but not unpleasant). Flavours are light grain with some sweetness. Woody and herbal with more strong perfumed soap towards the finish. A very strange brew. Who would have thought that drinking soap could be so pleasant. Tasty for its strength.

Jul 4, 2005 Can. Dark golden colour with a small off-white head. Light sweet malty grainy aroma and a malty hay harsh taste. Light body and a sweet dry finish.
