A fine looking can of brew this is. Obtained from Coralville Liquors on a weekend when all the co-eds are back on campus and I find it hard to pay attention to anything but every other pedestrian. That brings me back to this brew. Amber color liquid with a full head of light beige bubbles. This actually looks like a really nice english pale. Slight haze, tall and lasting head... Huh, pale lager, that is what they said they brewed. Reality kicks in with the first big sniff. Old orange juice, stale malt and drying/rotting weeds. Flavor is devoid of many thing, most of all much flavor. Dry, somewhat woody malt, with a touch of dry herbal hops. Still searching for more and not finding anything more to grasp onto. Dry and blah. heemer77 (4312), Savannah, Missouri, USA

The aroma is rich carrots and some fresh green beans. There is a hint of corn. Not a bad aroma. The taste has some light oats with a little bit of sharp celery in the finish. Relatively dry. This one of the best I have had in the style. Skyview (4060), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 1, 2007 Picked up a single orange 12-oz can at Warehouse Liquors in Duluth, MN. Pours a clear golden pale amber brew with a thick, creamy off-white head that has some spotty lacing and decent white ring. Aroma of multi-grain malt, some grassy hops, a touch of corn grits, and some fruity character. taste is light to medium bodied, quite smooth, with flavors of multi-grain malt and flowery hops. Finish is semi-sweet with a thin malty grain aftertaste. Actually this is much smoother than most macro-brewed beverages I’ve tried. beerguy101 (3946), Newark, California, USA

For a cheap and superficial beer, this stuff is not to bad. But it is a cheap and superficial beer Finish is clean. Aftertaste is neutral, no bitterness. Tastes OK out on the fishin’ boat on a hot day. BTB (Better Than Bud) badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

The head is rich and creamy in texture. Has a faint malty aroma. The body is thin. This is a fairly weak and watery beer. The finish has a slight sweetness of malt and just a kiss of the hops, but overall there’s not much here. Nuffield (2724), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
