Pale golden color with small diminishing white head. Aroma is light and citrusy. Flavor is sweet and fruity (peach) with a soft citrus bitternes and a light dry finish. Medium bodied with a light alcohol burn and modest carbonation.

Light gold, with a thin head. HEavy malt aroma, with a bit of a sour aroma. Heavy body and a good balance of hops and barley. A bit sweet in the finish. Another good buy from Trader Joes!

Nice balance of malt and hops and really hides its alcohol well. A nice end of evening ale and certainly one I’d buy again.

Bottled. Poured a light, clear amber with a short cap of white head. The nose was of sweet pale and caramel malts... plus artificial sweetener. Flavor picked up sweet caramel malts and alcohol... highly astringent... Light on the palate, but with sharp alcohol notes and artificial sweetener around the tongue and at the finish. Not very good.

Found this one bottled in Batavia, Illinois. Bright, medium and bubbly gold pour with a thick, white head. Flowery nose with some baked bread and a little chocolate. Balanced between rosy hops and light malts. Good!

Medium gold colored body with a white head. The aorma had some old strawberries and a little bit of cough syrup. The taste was sweet pears with some light caramel and a little bit of tobacco smokiness. Not bad, but this needs more character. I just find it bland more than anything else.

Unfortunately, this beer is just too sweet, overcarbonated, with overpowering alcohol and not aesthetically appealing. The aroma might be the best part, it has some fruity pineapple and malt. The flavour is mostly just extremely sweet and bitter with a lot of alcohol.

Pours a deep macro yellow with big bubbles and poor head. The nose is sweet and astringent with malt and a hint of peach, bubblegum and pineapple. The sweetness is so poorly balanced, there’s nothing that counters it well. This is sticky and syrupy on the palate with too much CO2, and yet not enough foaminess. The flavor is really pretty bad. Over the top sweetness, kind of like an artificial sweetner (ala diet soda). The big bubbles really lend more astringency too the forward alcohol and overall bitterness of this week brew. There’s also some sort of chemical cleaner sorts of flavors in here. I think the biggest redeaming characteristic of this beer is it’s ABV. I think this might beat out some malt liquors in $/ABV and perhaps even flavor.
