| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 26, 2006 Pours clear gold wtih a white pillow head that leaves quickly. Smells different - maybe some wheat, banana and light spice. Mouthfeel is medium with light carbonation. Taste has aspects of the aroma and others - definitely unique. Sweet malt, some banana and sugary. The mix of malt and sugar gives a taste almost like marshmallows. Spicy hop finish. Further down some cinnamon comes into the taste. The sugary taste continues to grow and it starts tasting a bit syrupy. An okay beer, good deal for the price. Saarlander (1583), Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA

Tastewise, it’s smooth and grainy, but nothing to get too excited about. S good session beer, I guess. --------

Mild but pleasant aroma, with some caramel sweetness and a citric hop edge. Flavour follows the aroma pretty closely. Strangely, this seems closer to being a pale ale than Fat Weasel Pale Ale. It’s also the better of the two, but still nothing special. walleye (882), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 24, 2005 from the bottle. poured more a dark golden than amber wiyh a small white head. aroma a little on the mild side nothing big here, got malt, caramel hint of hops.flavor the caramel came out a little stronger, malts had a hard time finding the hops. as it warmed lost most of the flavor. but as a cold beer not to bad. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA

The aroma didn’t give me much clue as to the flavor, but that flavor was decent. Sweet malts and not much hops made it a bit different from any amber I have had. I liked it.
