Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, some peach, honey. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, honey, bread, light peach. Watery light body, light chalk. Not an APA in my book. ryan (1776), Beltsville, Maryland, USA

Strange, doughy, honey, yeasty nose. The flavor is lightly sweet, very little bitterness with grainy malt, floral hops, honey and dough. Medium/light body is thin with light/moderate carbonation. kmweaver (2463), Sebastopol, California, USA

Pours a hazy, golden-yellow color; slight viscosity, thin white head with patchy lacing. Light sugar and mineral bitterness in the aroma; watery. Light-to-medium mouthfeel: very watery, light citrus and mineral bitterness; nothing offensive, really, but also not much of anything good. Watery, drinkable pale ale. Medium finish, showing toasty malts and breadiness; dry. DTM (541), Winters, California, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 21, 2008 Poured a gold color with large white head. Citrus was the first smell I noticed. Not a whole lot to it. A little malty flavor with little to no hops. Overall, a little bland, but it did go down very smooth. Would be great on a warm summer day. timfoolery (484), California, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 21, 2008 Bottle from TJ’s in Fairfield. For a pale ale, this one was weak from the beginning. There’s no real distinct hops that I could identify, just a generally weak blend. It was kinda smooth, but also tasted watered down. Not terribly impressed. badlizard (2345), Berkeley, California, USA

Aroma is grainy and vegetal, with lots of yeast and bread, slightly sweet, and just a hint of hops. Taste is biscuity and yeasty with a backbone of slightly sweet malt and a moderate amount of bittering hops. This isn’t really an APA, but it’s pretty good if considered as a blonde ale. In any case I think it’s considerably better than the ratings would indicate.
