Had at friend who bought at Trader Joes, just sugar water with light carbonation. Not good beer, better that MGD but not much. Tons of beers at Trader Joes that are better if you must shop there...this is like Duffer Beer????May be same contract brewer thing???

Ya’ know, I think this has a little bit of a bad rap. My 12 oz. bottle wasn’t all THAT bad. Aromas were way off. Smelled like horrible adjuncts. But the flavor didn’t really relate. It was rather sweet with a bit less hops than expected. Some Fruit cocktail flavor in there too. It wouldn’t be so bad if they could just fix that first wiff.

Bottle from Trader Joe’s in San Diego. Very pale amber-gold with a small white head. Muted aroma that is somewhat grainy, with a stale hop character - not promising. Flavour is better, but still quite bland. I did like the finish, which holds some mild but tasty orangey hop notes. But generally, this is a pretty weak effort.

Very light colored even for a "pale ale." Aroma is vaguely beery, and distinguished from a pale lager only by a light smattering of esters. Slight bit of buttery hop flavor. Extremely light bitterness. Rough graininess or a sharp yeast note. Not that great. Not actively bad, either.

Weak aroma but has a little grainy presence. Firm gold that looks to be a little hazy. Thin white head that breaks up fast. Not a tasty flavor from this beer because of watered down mix of puny hops and barley grass.

Pale golden color, fizzy white head dissapates quickly. Grassy aromatics, big whiff of DMS as well. Watery nose, grassy hop flavor. Big DMS character and a twinge of diacetyle. Mouthfeel is thin.

Bottle. 12 oz. Hmm?? Pale Ale? Ok. They must have used the hops even BMC would not use. WOW!! Not Good.
