Almost Duvel-ish, that good!!! Trader Joes in San Francisco once had cases of this stuff going for a buck a bottle, THEE most amazing store "special" blowout ever encountered. I bought as much as I could carry. Never see it in LA. Scumptious!!! lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA

Very nice aroma at 1st with a touch of malt, and fragrant hops, that turned malty and a bit overly yeasty and bready as it warmed. Taste is very balanced with a nice malt and hop presence with a touch of yeasty flavor coming in soon after all with a minimum bitterness. Very good and drinkable all around with a light hoppy finish. GreatStelle (360), Chico, California, USA

Aroma is grainy and vegetal, with lots of yeast and bread, slightly sweet, and just a hint of hops. Taste is biscuity and yeasty with a backbone of slightly sweet malt and a moderate amount of bittering hops. This isn’t really an APA, but it’s pretty good if considered as a blonde ale. In any case I think it’s considerably better than the ratings would indicate. papajohn (1055), San Diego (Mira Mesa), California, USA
