Commercial Description:
This beer is very dry with a fruity aroma. Some of the flavor compounds formed during fermentation are similar to champagne. The beer is ultra light in color and is brilliantly clear. The bitterness shows up on the palate due to the light body of the beer. Faultline Brewing Company serves it’s Kölsch year-round.

POurs with the requisite starw color. Light bodied, not much of an aroma. A bit metallic and a bit grainy, tastes clean, a good representation of the style.

Low malt aroma with a low noble hop aroma with some faint soft fruit like notes Straw gold and brilliant, pours with a delicate white head which dissipates quickly Flavor: Very clean and malt forward followed by hint offruity flavors (like melons/pears), slightly lemon like medium bitterness well restrained Palate: medium low carbonation, clean with a semi-dry finish Overall: A very good representation of a Kolsh.... excellent choice on a warm sunny day the soft malt beginning and clean semi dry finish makes it easy going and great with light foods yum!

Light yellow gold color. Medium white foamy head. Aroma is malty, grainy and grassy. A medium bodied Kolsch. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are crisp and lightly bitter. Nicely balanced. The hops are just crisp enough to balance the malt sweetness. Crisp and clean. Light and refreshing. Dry finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
