Apr 5, 2006 An orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of corn, but also some caramel. The flavor is also sweet with strong notes of corn, which gives it a sourness, that I don’t like, but it also has some notes of caramel. I don’t like corn in my beer, this is bad Danish macro brewing.

Apr 20, 2007 (Can 50 cl) Clear, amber golden with a bubbly, dissipating head. Very limited aroma - perhaps I detect a vague hint of malt. Medium-bodied with a fairly high carbonation, some light accents of caramel. The finish is dry. Completely uninteresting. 040407

Jul 31, 2006 Did this side by side with the old Faxe Amber (1906 Classic). Identical colour of bright golden-amber. Aroma on this one is more alcohol oriented, with sweet caramel. Despite the lighter aroma, the flavour is stronger than its predecessor, mind you not as good. Just a flat, sweet, caramel syrup sort of thing. Sweet, flat finish. Not an improvement.
