Very dark brown, small creamy tanned head. Toasted malty aroma plus burnt sugar. Roasted malty, carbonated, a bit sweet, bitterish, alcoholic flavor. Nice suprise, I couldn’t think that Faxe can brew this good - certainly underrated here (propably because of the brand). Papsoe (15109), Frederiksberg, Denmark

But we still have to go abroad to buy this. Very dark brown - almost cola-coloured. Extremely full-bodied, malty with some nutty notes. Dry without being immensely bitter with a pleasant, balanced sweetness. A very nice beer indeed and rather close to a typical German bock. 261299 Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark

Taste is, well, there’s flavour and considering what we have experienced so far, that is a start. The mouthfeel was fizzy, and what flavour was there was certainly along the artificial syrupiness side of things, but it wasn’t offensive and I didn’t mind it.
