Nice looking reddish brown coloured. Surprisingly good. Malty with notes of liquorice. Slightly metallic in the finish.

A red-brown beer with a small brown head. The aroma is sweet malty - very simple. The flavor is of caramel, roasted bread, and alcohol. Way too sweet.

Canned - 500ml. Cola brown body with thin and quick-fading beige head. Moderately strong malty and fruity aroma with some caramel and alcohol notes. Compared to the other Faxe products, taste is well balanced and alcohol is fairly hidden. There are some malty and hoppy flavors with some subtle notes of sugar and chocolate. The finish brings a moderate warming effect. Although this is not an impressive beer, it is a good surprise from Faxe.

Bottle, DBF 2004. Red Brown, off white head and moderate condition. Low malt, some fruit and a touch of alcohol in the nose, sweet malt with a hint of woody smokiness in the mouth and a sweet malt finish with a slight hint of roast barley and a suggestion of barly wine notes.

Dark amber color. Strong caramel character with Porto notes (?). Nothing special, but drinkable.

Deep brown color with a off white color. The taste is full malts with a light roasted but balanced taste.

Pours a blackish body with a slightly off-white head that is very creamy looking. Aroma is sort of spicy and malty at the same time. Also very mild. taste is slightly sweet malt, with some alcohol in the background. Easy to drink for a 7.7 %, but just not my thing.

Dark brown beer with a moka head which collapses quickly. Malt and caramel aroma, with some alcohol. Sweet nutty tatse with light hops , slightly metallic, and some caramel. Medium body which is not too bad for a Faxe. (Can)
