Re-rate: Still good, big mostly lasting head. Jun 8,2008: Can 50cl, Fakta. Pours a dark brown reddish body, with a medium creamy light brown head (almost looks like cola). Sweet, roasted malty with hints of brown sugar and caramel. 6-4-6-3-14

Can. Thanks to JensenTaster. Pours amber/brown with a off white creamy & bubbly head. Aroma is mild - caramel & bread. A bit of sweetness. Slightly ashy & roasted flavor. Warmth from alcohol. Best product from brewery yet!

Dark brown with a small white head. Weak aroma of bready malt. Medium dry flavour of malt, with a strong alcohol note.

50cl can, fakta (i think) sweet aroma that i could pick up from a distance after pouring. dark reddish-brown, clear, small white-brown head with fine bubbels. Taste is good, but overwhelmed by way too much alc. the total experience is quite frightening (not good). brown suger, malty notes, if i ignore the too dominant alc. taste, the rest of the flavor is very good. Did they add alc. to get it to 7.7? if so, a shame. Average palate. Overall i get the feeling someone poured voka in an otherwise great beer.

500ml. can bought at the SAQ A: nice reddish-brown colour with a nice beige head, good head retention. S: very malty, some green apples, nice equilibrium, doesn’t seems too sweet. T: nice clean round taste, some swetness helps balance, some hops, good beer. M: round D: Nice doppelbock, perfect winter brew

kind of sweet kind of coffee tasting. Poor qualty not like I expected more from Fax. Advice is to go for the 10% and get drunk faster.
