Can. A clear, deep reddish brown beer with an off-white head. Sweetish, roasted aroma with dried fruits. Nice, but still lacking something. The flavor is a bit over the top with sweetness and roasted malt, as well as some alcohol. Sweetish, full body. Malty and alcohol finish with some roasted malt. It left the impression of being a malt liquor trying to be a bock, and it didn’t succeed. (080112)

This full-bodied danish dunkel is a warming, inviting pint of malty richness with a siren’s song of a velvet hammer glow after the third pint. A great brunette in a country noted for its blondes

Hazy brown with medium off white head. Aroma is sweet with malty and grassy notes. Same goes for the somewhat watery flavor...

500ml can-A dark brown ody with a small tan head and an aroma of malt, caramel, and sweetness. Taste of the same with a little burnt flavor comin on in the end. A nice tasting bock.

Pours a thick blackish brown liquid, not even close to opaque, but nice looking with a small light tan head. Smell is heavy malts and no bitterness or hops. Flavor is nice at start, caramel, roastiness, a bit of nuts. No bitterness. Finish is sort of unpleasant and sharp. Carbonation is nice, and it is pretty thick. Not nearly as bad as some of their other offerings.

This bock is brown/black with a golden head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and caramel. The flavour has hints of alcohol and notes of roasted malt and caramel and a hint of bitter licorice. It’s a surprising bock, and normally I’m not so fond of the style, but this one is OK.

Can: Deep amber coloured, mid-sized lacy off-white head, sweet-malty and sweet-fruity nose with a touch of bitterness in the background and an alcoholic touch; moderate to strong sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; sweet and dark-malty finish. Really not bad, compared to other Faxe products............
